Reed Diffuser

I already eyeing this kind of item for months, even before i tried the electric fragrance. But i never bought it because i haven't found the smell that i really like. Then, today I went to Lovely Lace randomly and found out that they sell Reed Diffuser too!! I immediately smell all of the fragrance. At Lovely Lace Mall Kelapa Gading, they sell Teddy's Dream, Honeysuckle, Lavender, and Lemon Grass. I haven't check at Mall Taman Anggrek and Plaza Senayan, so i don't know whether they have another scent or not, as MKG's Lovely Lace is the least complete out of other stores.

I was torn between Honeysuckle and Teddy's Dream, as they both smells really good. Honeysuckle is the best seller for Reed Diffuser, and Teddy's Dream is best seller for it's aromatic oil. But after smelling the TD, I noticed that TD's smell is different between the Reed Diffuser and aromatic oil. I choose the TD instead of honeysuckle only because it has a Teddy Bear's picture on it's bottle, while honeysuckle is only your everyday vintage-looking flower :P

The aromatic one is a bit too sweet for ones who doesn't really like sweet fragrance, but the Reed Diffuser has totally different kind of sweetness than the aromatic oil. Heck, you wouldn't even know it was also TD if wasn't for its name. Anyway, here's inside of the packaging:

What it says on packaging:
"Reed Diffuser is an easy, effective and safe way to diffuse continuous fragrance throughout your environment. No smoke, drippy wax or the anxiety of burning candles"
What to do:
Open the bottle of fragrant oil and discard the cap inside. Slip the decorative sleeve over the neck of the bottle and insert the willow reeds. Fragrance bloom within 48 hours.

How it works:
The aromatic oils are absorbed up through the slender willow reeds and released naturally, enhancing every moment of everyday with spelndid fragrance that lasts up to four months (depending of your surroundings.)

Where to use:
Enhance the decor of any space you like. Reed Diffuser is great for those "no candle zones" such as offices, dorm rooms and homes with young children.

Weellll..... Those were from the packaging. As for me, first time I used it, I insert the willow reeds to the bottle for 30 minutes, then turned it upside down, the soaked side on the top, and the dry side now is soaking inside the bottle. The shop assistant said that it'll last until 2 days before you turned it upside down again.
But looking from the willow reeds, the oils are slowly going up to the dry side, so i don't know whether must I turned it up again after 2 days or not. Anyway, here's the pic after I use it:

For the bottle i bought (200ml), it cost Rp 175.000,- . It might sound a little bit pricey, but seeing that it can make your room smell good for 24 hours with do nothing about it, i think it's quiet worth it. besides, they said it'll last for 4 months if used non-stop, meaning that we'll get longer time if we didn't use it everyday non-stop :D

If you want to try it first, they sell the smaller packaging, and they sell the refill bottle too (i forgot the ml, probable for the big bottle), but with no reeds and no wooden sleeve, just like regular bottle with caps.

Pros: the smell is working like aromatic oil, it didn't smell faintly like i though it would, given that it's only oil and no candles to lit them. The electric fragrance and aromatic candle aren't as strong as this one. For me, the electric fragrance and candle would have faint smell after few hours, while the Reed Diffuser work like aromatic oil. If you want long-lasting fragrance for your room, go for these two!

Cons: You can't mix the fragrant if you're getting tired of it, unlike the aromatic oil which can be mixed and changed. Limited variances of fragrant. There's not many fragrant oil with diffuser on the Lovely Lace shop (only four, so far! i don't know whether they have another fragrance on other shop or not), and other Reed Diffuser don't smell as nice as Lovely Lace's, or if they do, they're much pricier and with smaller size. Yankee Candle's diffusers are the example.
